Are Facebook Messenger bots good for lead generation?

Hey BotList community, at https://smartloop.ai we're starting to work with some large clients to help them with lead generation on Facebook. Basically, we're driving traffic from ads to a bot. The goal is to use the bot like a lead funnel.

What are your thoughts on using this for lead generation? Is there anyone that has some clients who would like to test this strategy?

I was actually creating a webinar around this tactic. Almost like ClickFunnels but for bots.

@sethlouey Exactly, I believe this can be ClickFunnels 2.0. Facebook already gives you a lot of the leads info so it simplifies the process.

Hey Joseph, I am the founder of Fyrebox (https://www.fyrebox.com), an online quiz maker for small businesses. Quite a lot of marketers are using Messenger as a lead generation tool so we started offering the option for our quizzes to be playable as a bot on Messenger. We offer integration with email marketing software and CRMs so you can drive traffic to your quiz bot on Messenger, collect the leads and send them automatically to your preferred software. Reach out if you have any questions

@cyrilgaillard That is very interesting. Are you starting to see good engagement numbers and conversion rates for the people using these? Does it work best for specific industries? I'm trying your bot now.

@josephholguin Hey Joseph, this is early days for us so that would be a question for the folks at Manychat. But our quizzes work best for e-commerce websites so I am sure it will be the same with bots. We have been talking to quite a few users using Manychat and they see some really good results. Also, the CPC from Facebook ads to drive traffic to a bot is significantly lower than a regular ad. Finally, we missed the conference on Chatbots for marketing this year (https://conversationsconference.com/) but we'll be there next year for sure. Hope this helps
